Versova, one of the country’s leading egg companies, has expanded its management team with the newly created position of Chief Compliance Officer. Ashley Singh will move from her former role at Trillium Farms, a Versova-owned farm in Ohio, to Director of Compliance for all operations managed by Versova and lead company-wide compliance efforts.
In his new role, Singh will focus on the three pillars of Versova compliance; the production of safe and affordable food; the care, health and welfare of the Versova herds; and environmental stewardship. She will lead Versova’s agricultural compliance teams in Iowa and Ohio in ensuring food safety and animal welfare practices are followed, working with government and regulatory agencies to implement national quality assurance programs and continuously improving policies and procedures that will help maintain and exceed industry compliance. standards.

After graduating from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies, Singh held a number of positions at Trillium Farms in Ohio, including as Quality Assurance Manager, Food Safety Manager, and Food Safety Officer. agricultural compliance. Most recently, Singh served as Senior Director of Compliance at Trillium Farms. During his tenure, Singh has worked extensively with industry stakeholders including USDA-AMS, USDA-FSIS, FDA, US EPA, Ohio EPA, United Egg Producers, American Humane Certified and the Ohio Department of Agriculture. She has also participated in the United Egg Producers Emerging Leaders Program.
