With a significantly better economy than the United States and Canada, a central location for exporting to major markets, and top-notch cultivation characteristics, Colombia is considered by many to have significant cultivation advantages over the other regions of the world.

The aim is to test microclimate, genetics, local pests and any other factors that may affect the final design and selection of genetics. The plan is to ask our partners to perform tests with the desired strands and analyze the first results.

“Furthermore, the greenhouses represent only a very small part of the planned constructions, but allow us to test the conditions and start the genetic micro-tests. The plan is to run a 90 day cycle and ensure that the test parameters yield the expected results.

Medcana partners will also perform tests in native soil for short-term outdoor cultivation opportunities for the company. For now, the greenhouses provide Medcana and its partners with a controlled environment to ensure native soil results are accurate.
