Intel Software Advantage Program Offers Free Games with Arc GPUs and Alder Lake CPUs

Intel has come up with a new promotional plan to boost sales of its Arc GPUs and Alder Lake processors. The company is try to break the AMD and NVIDIA duopoly by offering its own range of dedicated graphics cards, and wants to seduce gamers by adopting one of the oldest marketing tricks.

Intel will soon launch its Software Advantage Program, which will reward gamers with free games and productivity software with the purchase of Arc Alchemist graphics cards and Alder Lake processors. The company hasn’t officially announced the program, but its website has confirmed the promotion.

Intel’s Software Advantage program offers four games and five productivity software. The chipmaker has indicated that it will offer the software for free with the purchase of mid to high-end Arc GPUs and Alder Lake processors. The catalog includes game titles such as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed, Gotham Knightsand even some DLC (Downloadable Content) for Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodhunyou.

It is not clear if customers will receive all of these games or if they will have to choose one. Along with game titles, buyers will also be able to choose three of the five programs to download. Intel offers PowerDirector 365, D5 Render, MAGIX Video Pro, Topaz Gigapixel AI and XSplit Premium Suite.

The Software Advantage program is enabled for purchasers who purchase any of the Intel Arc A500 or A700 graphics cards that come with a 12th generation i5, i7 or i9 processor. The program will remain valid from August 25 until the end of 2022 and customers will have until the end of January 2023 to use the promotional codes.

Intel will soon release 13th Gen Raptor Lake processors. It’s unclear if the company will extend the promotion to these processors. Additionally, customers will need to create an account on the company’s website. Some game titles are expected to launch on multiple virtual stores, while others are exclusive to just one. Therefore, it is not clear which services will be preferred delivery and installationnot the partners.
